Feeling so positive now!

WOW......I'm feeling so positive now! I've just started an amazing e-course  that i really feel is going to help me so much! I can't stop smiling!

As i've said before, I live with my beautiful fiance Ben in a very small (but colourful and cozy ) bedsit.He supports me as i am not working. i haven't had a job in over a year!! I made a wish to have the money to join this Circle and suddenly my father in law to be offered me the money! It's such an amazing feeling to know that the family i will soon be joining, has such faith in me! I am Blessed! 

 I dream big! and i want to be able to get the message accross that dreams can come true. Wishing on a star works, and i'd love to be able to help make others wishes come true!
This year i'd like the Goddess Circle to help me gain the knowledge and insight to help myself and others live the life they are dreaming of! We all have the power within us to achieve the life we want, unfortunatly it's all to easy to let negative thinking convince us otherwise.

I'm hoping to become clearer on what exactly my business will be. At the moment i re-vamp furniture to make it more colourful and unique. I have an idea of selling these items but also giving the option of taking customers existing furniture, and re-vamping that in their colours of choice....this would be a cheaper option for those with less money. I want to help people brighten up their living spaces and their lives.

I haven't blogged for a while so thought i'd better drop by. With my wedding 9 months awat i've started making some decorations, it's been really fun and quite relaxing too. I've also been taking a free online course learning how to set up a proper website.......which i will need once i get my business going. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well i've been taking in all the information....i'm usually rubbish at learning stuff. I guess the more you want something the easier it is to put the effort in! I've been doing lots of research and reading lately and am feeling really positive......and quite cheeky to as todays little journaling fun shows!

Mind you some of my previous doodles were fun too....

I also found some photos photos of some other piccies i made today...

The bottom piccie is a piccie of one one my favourite artists....Violette Clark! I wonder what she'd make of it! I've also been doing more meditating lately which has been really good! Infact i think i'll go and do some now! Until next time......keep smiling!

On my way

Well, today i created a website for my stuff. It's still got a long way to go but it's a start! See what you think....           craftycaris.weebly.com

I used weebly.com which is a great site and most importantly FREE!!! I've been asking people to let me know if they think my creations are sellable and then, depending on the reaction, i'll know whether to move to the next step of actually pricing the items and all the delivery/payment side of things! Don't get me wrong, i'm not out to become a millionaire (although obviously that would be lovely) but i would like to able to contribute to the household bills. I have health problems that prevent me working so my fiance (who is wonderful beyond words) has been supporting me!

I just want to be able to pay my fair share of the bills and such and be a bit more independant, and if i can achieve that by doing what i love...well then thats the good life!! 

So, here's where you can help me out. Please look at my stuff and let me know what you think. The plan is to either sell items pre-made or people can bring me their stuff and i'll colour it up the colours you choose! Either way you get a one of a kind piece once i'm done!

Getting started

I've been wanting to start my own business since forever, The biggest problem really was working out what it would be. What can i do? What do i have to offer? What if it fails? What if...what if...what if????

 It suddenly came to me a few weeks ago...What if??? SO WHAT!!! At least I'll have tried. If it does go wrong, well then I'll learn from my mistakes and try again! So finally i decided to get off my butt and get going, After reading lots online and especially reading Leonie Dawson's blogs which are so inspirational i made a start. I had to work out what i was good at and what i enjoyed doing. I must have sat for about an hour (it felt like days) trying to figure this out! I was staring blankly at a couple of things I'd made that morning ( a photo frame and a patchwork covered notebook) that were still drying, and it hit me!

THIS is what i love to do...and I am good at it too! I LOVE TO CREATE! I love to take everyday objects and give them a bit of  colour! Make the ordinary just a little bit less ordinary.

 So i started finding pictures of all the "tweaks" I've made to furniture and other odds and ends in my little flat!
